Position Overview :
Assistant Superintendent Commercial and Multifamily
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support our commercial and multifamily construction projects. This role will work closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in daily coordination and supervision of all field operations for commercial and multifamily projectsMonitor subcontractor performance, quality of work, and adherence to project schedulesConduct daily safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance standardsReview and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentsCoordinate material deliveries and equipment schedulingMaintain detailed daily reports, progress photos, and project documentationAssist with quality control inspections and punch list completionCommunicate project status to Project Manager and SuperintendentResolve field conflicts and coordinate with design team when necessaryMentor and guide field personnel and subcontractorsEnsure proper implementation of company safety protocols and proceduresRequired Qualifications :
3-5 years of construction experience in commercial and / or multifamily projectsStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesOSHA 30-Hour certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and leadership skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work in all weather conditions and job site environmentsPreferred Qualifications :
Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldPrevious superintendent or foreman experienceExperience with multifamily housing projects (apartments, condos, townhomes)Knowledge of commercial construction (office, retail, industrial)Familiarity with project management software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.)Bilingual capabilities (English / Spanish)Physical Requirements :
Ability to walk construction sites dailyCapability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at various elevationsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyVisual acuity to inspect work quality and read plansWhat We Offer :
