Independent Practice Model | January Start | Ongoing Coverage Available | Cerner EMR

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an independent anesthesia locum assignment in Durant, Oklahoma .

This opportunity offers immediate January coverage dates with the potential for ongoing shifts throughout 2026 — making it ideal for CRNAs seeking a long-term, flexible schedule within a well-supported, autonomy-driven environment.

Assignment Overview

  • Location : Durant, Oklahoma
  • Initial Coverage Dates : January 5–9, 2026 (with additional vacation weeks available throughout the year)
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday | Day Shifts
  • Team Structure : 5 CRNAs daily | No Anesthesiologist on-site
  • Practice Model : Independent CRNA practice
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Call : Possible (to be confirmed with upcoming coverage blocks)
  • Contract Type : Locum Tenens | Ongoing availability preferred

Case Mix

  • General Anesthesia
  • Endoscopy
  • OB (including epidurals and labor analgesia)
  • No Hearts, No Heads
  • Full responsibility for blocks, epidurals, and regional anesthesia procedures

    • Candidate Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Oklahoma CRNA license
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (PALS preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of independent anesthesia experience
  • Strong proficiency with epidurals, spinals, and regional techniques
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of cases autonomously
