School Nutrition Service (SNS) Manager

Primary Purpose :

The School Nutrition Service (SNS) Manager will be responsible for program compliance and implementation for the Texans Can Academies district. This position will ensure accurate coding and documentation of student lunch applications, TEA and USDA submissions and will adhere to program guidelines as directed by the central SNS staff.

Qualifications :

Education / Certification :

• Food Service Certification required

Experience :

Reporting Schedule : Monday - Friday 6 : 30 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. (30 minute lunch)

Reporting schedule and lunch are subject to be changed by the Director of SNS

Major Responsibilities and Duties :

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Supervise Food Service Leads, Assistants at assigned campuses.

Equipment Used :

Personal computer, printer, fax machine, copier, and calculator.

Working Conditions :

Mental Demands / Physical Demands / Environmental Factors :

Must be able to lift 35 pounds regularly. Must be able to stand long periods at a time. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
