Senior Compensation Consultant

The Senior Compensation Consultant plays a vital role in the development and ongoing administration, design, analysis and implementation of Providence's union and non-union compensation programs ensuring Providence can effectively attract, retain and motivate employees. Provides expert consultation to HR and management on compensation matters, offering solutions and guidance on complex issues, including union bargaining. Participates in the development and implementation of compensation strategies that align with business goals and ensures regulatory compliance. Conducts research and analysis of market survey data and trends, including annual and ad-hoc reviews, to ensure compensation is competitive, equitable and cost effective. Evaluates new and existing roles to determine appropriate job level, pay and incentive plan eligibility. Models and costs scenarios for union negotiations. Works collaboratively with compensation team, HR and management on projects, including major multi-cost center and system initiatives. As needed, serves as the compensation subject matter expert on committees and supports with orienting and training new consultants.

• Strong attention to detail with precision in managing data and compensation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
