Descripción del trabajoTravel and / or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required to work with clients on projects. The frequency of travel and relocation will be determined by the needs of clients. Travel is up to 50% of time and is based upon the demands of our clients; relocation is required. Ansa, HyperWorks, LS-DYNA, LS-PrePost, Metapost, Python. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field. Five years of progressively responsible experience. Two (2) years of the aforementioned five years must have included Ansa, HyperWorks, LS-DYNA, LS-PrePost, Metapost, Python. Responsibilities
- Design and developing products using CAD software.
- Perform concept and feasibility study for components / systems for automobiles.
- Benchmarking of competitive products.
- Prepare conceptual sketches of new products considering the relations between components, functional requirements, allocation of space and component geometry.
- Design and develop automotive parts from initial concept through to full production.
- Create detailed production drawings for manufacturing.
- Refine product design to meet quality, safety, regulatory, cost and other requirements.
