Med / Surg RN Job Details

Location : Pasco, WA 99301 (Washington nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 16 / 2025 – End : 3 / 17 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Acute / Inpatient Rehabilitation, Med / Surg

Nursing Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed weekly hours)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680-$1800

Patient Ratio : 5 : 1

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend (Sat / Sun)

Call Requirement : None

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required

Rehabilitation nursing experience and GG scoring documentation preferred

CCRN certification preferred but not required

Ability to float to Med / Surg unit as needed

Strong teamwork and collaborative skills

Scrub color : Any

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality clinical care to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputations, and traumatic brain injuries

Utilize Omnicell and Meditech EHR systems for medication management and clinical documentation

Participate in patient rehabilitation, including GG scoring and progress documentation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to Med / Surg unit as needed to support hospital operations

Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for patients
