Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

Under the direction of the Team Lead of Systems Administration, serves as a Unified Communications Architect within the Health Affairs Information Services department. The Unified Communications Architect's role is to plan, design, and analyze the organization's electronic communications infrastructure. Components of the infrastructure require expertise in Microsoft Exchange.

The unified communications architect works closely with systems administrators, network administrators and telecommunications administrators to ensure communication systems are effectively supporting the needs of the UC, Irvine Health System.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications :

• Strong background in messaging technologies
• Familiar with messaging security systems for protection and encryption
• Familiar with data de-duplication software and methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Able to translate complex information to a novice level and able to understand the needs of the university and translate that into solutions
• Ability to manage multiple medium to large projects
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and to analyze and interpret data in order to draw valid conclusions for complex business issues
• 5+ Years experience managing Microsoft Exchange
