Job Details

The Lead Medical Laboratory Assistant assists laboratory leadership maintain the orderly and efficient operation of the phlebotomy and reference lab departments. Additionally, the lead medical laboratory assistant must be able to perform all routine and special duties associated with the department in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Performs additional duties as required by the Administrative Director of the Laboratory, Quality Systems Manager, the Managers / Supervisors and / or the Laboratory Medical Director.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent. Certificate from an approved phlebotomy training program or a medical laboratory assistant program (which includes phlebotomy) preferred.

Minimum 5 years phlebotomy experience. Supervisory experience preferred.

Posted Salary Range

USD $27.89 - USD $31.25 / Hr.
