Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Surgical Tech specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures, located in Fort Myers, FL. This position requires strong expertise in heavy cardiac and open-heart (OH) surgical support. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of CVOR experience, prior travel assignment experience, and possess BLS certification.

Key Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience with a focus on cardiac and open-heart cases
• Prior travel experience in similar roles
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Certified or Non-certified Surgical Tech experience accepted, with preference for certified
• Knowledge of operational protocols in CVOR settings
• Ability to work flexible 10-hour day shifts with scheduled days off
• fortable participating in call schedules (approximately 1 weekend per month and 1-2 additional days with extended hours)
