Job Title : Cardiac Cath Lab Position Profession : Clinical Services Specialty : Cardiology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10hr Day Shift Hours per Shift : 40 Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : Required Licensure Certifications : BLS, ARRT or RCIS; ACLS preferred Must-Have : - Cath lab experience with diagnostics and interventional procedures. - Experience with femoral and radial approaches, IFR, FFR, and balloon pumps. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with interdisciplinary teams. - Willingness to teach and educate others. Description : Looking for a Cardiac Cath Lab professional. The facility has a Level III Trauma Center and a Level III NICU. There are a total of 72 beds available. The Cath Lab consists of 2 rooms : 1 EP / Cath room and 1 Cath Lab. Average cases per day in the Cath Lab is around 4. Balloon pumps and temporary pacers are a part of the required skills. This is a 24 / 7, 365 STEMI program. Support within the department includes receptionists, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists. The technology and equipment include EMR : EPIC, Hemodynamic system : Maclab, IV pump : Alaris, Med dispensing : Pyxis, PACS, and C-arms : GE. Floating is only between rooms in the department and the pre-op area. Scrub color is provided.
