Optum is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join our team in Carson.

  • Work-Life Harmony Enjoy a consistent MondayFriday, 8am5pm schedule with no call and no weekendsyour time matters, and we respect it.
  • Focused, Outpatient-Only Care Deliver high-quality care in a modern outpatient setting, free from hospital rounds or overnight shifts.
  • Diverse Patient Engagement See a variety of patients across the lifespan, with a focus on adults and seniors who value long-term, trusted care.
  • Manageable Patient Load With an average daily census of 18 patients, youll have the time to build relationships and provide thoughtful, personalized care.
  • Thoughtful Scheduling Appointments are structured for quality : 40 minutes for new patients, 20 minutes for follow-upsno rushed visits here.
  • Team-Based Support Youll be backed by a dedicated team of nurses and medical assistants, so you can focus on what you do best : caring for patients.

    • What Youll Need to Join Our Team :

  • Medical Degree Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Completed Residency in the United States In Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible In Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • California Medical License Active and unrestricted, or ability to obtain before your start date
  • DEA Certification Current California DEA license, or ability to secure it prior to starting
  • BLS Certification Current Basic Life Support certification, or willingness to obtain
  • EMR Proficiency Comfortable navigating electronic medical records for efficient, high-quality care
