U-Metal Supervisor 1 RADM

Supervise and efficiently manage hourly personnel in assigned areas of responsibility in a safe and compliant manner. Responsible for producing a quality product in a timely and safe manner.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

Study and understand the applicable requirements, labor contract, procedures, and equipment utilized in the work area.

Train and assign hourly personnel to work to ensure that safe practices and correct job requirements are performed.

Report equipment malfunctions, procedural deviations, absenteeism, accidents, and / or other unusual occurrences.

Prepare minor work orders and coordinate applicable work under major work orders and Radiation Work Permits.

Review / approve applicable records, runsheets, and / or other documentation in the work area.

Complete applicable reports and provide other information as requested.

Administer disciplinary action when required and address inadequate performance issues promptly.

Education Requirements :

High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of college Chemistry or Physics

Experience Requirements :

One to two years experience in a chemical or nuclear facility or one to two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or military environment.

Pay : $63,000.00 - $99,000.00

The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $63,000.00 and $99,000.00 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department / team performance, and other market factors.
