POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides clerical support to Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education / Training :

High School graduate or equivalent.

Workplace Experience :

One year medical office experience preferred.

Equipment and Skills Training :

Able to follow directions.

Physical Environment :

Office environment.

Physical Effort :

Must be able to sit, stand, communicate in English, both verbally and in written form, squat, and reach overhead.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

• Provides support to clinical staff, support staff, and physicians.
• Stocks rooms and replaces inventory.
• Prepares exam rooms for the next patient.
• Carries documents and records to the needed location. Obtains signatures on documents as needed.
• Transports patients to x-ray rooms.
• Interacts with patients in a pleasing manner.
• Assist with patient flow if needed.
• Works as a team member.
• Follows proper lifting techniques to prevent back injury.
• Maintains open line of communication with all staff.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
