• Registered Nurse RN position that supports the Trinity Health Brighton Emergency Department (ED).\n
• This position is a Full-Time, benefited opportunity scheduled 36 hour per week : 12-hour mid-shift with a weekend and holiday rotation.\n
• Trinity Health Brighton's Emergency Department (ED) is available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year to care for minor illnesses / injuries, as well as major life-threatening, traumatic, medical and surgical problems. Practice in a department that is staffed with board-certified or board-eligible emergency physicians.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n
• Under limited supervision, the Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, including developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan. The RN interprets and performs complex patient-care procedures specific to their expertise.\n
• RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and have accountability to function as a team to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway / plan of care.\n
• The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame.\n
• The RN provides care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment / technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.\n
• Patients served include all age groups (Infant through Older Adults as identified in Performance Standards).\n\nMINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n
• Current Michigan Nursing License\n
• Graduation from accredited nursing program : Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire.\n\nShift : 1 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 AM.\n\nPOSITION BENEFITS AND HIGHLIGHTS\n
