This role involves caring for a diverse patient population in general surgical care, oncology, nephrology, and post-surgical care settings, with the ability to float to various Med / Surg units, the ED Hold , and Legacy Annex (Observation Unit) as needed. Responsibilities & Skills : Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care for post-surgical and medical patients Float as needed across Med / Surg, ED hold, and Observation units Manage and monitor : Chest tubes, CPAP / BiPap, trach care, drains, feeding tubes Epidural pumps, PCA pumps, line management (PICC / Central lines) Port-A-Cath / Vascular device care, wound vacs Telemetry interpretation, blood / blood products administration, and thermal regulation Utilize Cerner EMR system Weekends and holidays as required Required Qualifications : Active NY RN license BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 3 years of telemetry or acute care experience Preferred Qualifications : 5 years of experience in telemetry or progressive care Location : Poughkeepsie, NY Contact : HumanEdge Health HumanEdge Travel Healthcare Job ID 13104.
