Surgical Technician Job

The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include being prepared for and knowledgeable of the surgical procedure to be performed, setting up and maintaining a sterile field, anticipating and assisting surgeon as necessary, working with the circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintaining familiarity, function, and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The Surgical Technician initiates responsibility for care of specimens and performs other related duties.

Required Qualifications :

• Associate's Degree in Surgical Tech program
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
