Descripción del trabajoTo properly process various species of seafood, ensuring maximum use and yield of product. Inspect and grade product. Place product in containers or on conveyers. Weigh and clean product. Place product in proper packaging as instructed. Adhere to all sanitation and product quality policies. Communicate quality issues to supervisors and leads. Maintain plant safety at all times. Perform other duties, as assigned. What You Bring to Pacific Seafood : Required : At least 18 years old Preferred : Prior experience with food processing equipment Prior food safety experience Prior experience in a processing environment Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time. Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Reaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Grasping. Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Constantly required to use close, distance, and peripheral vision with ability to judge depth perception and adjust focus. Constantly required to reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to Wet and / or humid conditions and extreme cold. Work around heavy equipment and machinery. The noise level is usually loud. $17.00 per hour At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
