Job Description

• As a Staff Physician for the Emergency Medicine Services , this position is responsible for all aspects of Emergency Medicine.
• Perform appropriate evaluations for patients. Participates effectively in team meetings and treatment planning conferences and collaborates with Interdisciplinary Team Members in a manner that enhances coordination of comprehensive patient care.
• This position will require rotating 10-hour shifts including weekends and holidays from 6a to 2a.
• Academic Affiliation : Eastern Virginia Medical School

BENEFITS :

Pay :  Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off :  50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Work Schedule :  8 : 00AM - 4 : 30PM - Monday – Friday; This position requires no call coverage

This position is eligible for our Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) which allows for up to $200K in loan repayment over a 5-year period.
