About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neurosurgeon to join our medical team in Carbondale, IL. This position offers a unique schedule of two weeks on followed by two weeks off, providing a balanced work-life dynamic. The Neurosurgeon will be responsible for providing comprehensive surgical care for patients with neurological conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Schedule : Full time, 183 24-hour shifts per year Compensation : $900,000 per year, and any shifts worked beyond 183 are compensated at $4,900 per shift. Benefits : health, vision, dental, access to our 401k with corporate matching, disability insurance, $2500 / year toward CME), your malpractice, including tail coverage (as long as you give us 120 days notice if you ever wish to separate). Qualifications :
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in neurosurgery.
- Board certification or eligibility in neurosurgery.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois.
- Strong surgical skills with experience in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures.
