COB Specialist

A company is looking for a COB Specialist responsible for optimizing Coordination of Benefits recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

Responds to provider and member inquiries regarding claim adjustments, appeals, and other COB-related issues

Investigates members for other insurance coverage to enhance savings for the Plan

Accurately processes COB claims and departmental reports, while participating in workflow improvements and training programs

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience

Four or more years of experience in a healthcare or managed care field

Preferred experience in COB claims processing and Medicaid MCO settings
