Senior Threat Detection Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Threat Detection Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in a 24 / 7 on-call rotation for alert triage and investigation

Support functions such as incident response, threat detection, and offensive security

Develop automations to reduce manual tasks and support security-related audits and compliance efforts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Arts / Sciences (BA / BS) or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience in incident response, security engineering, or related fields

Experience in identifying telemetry gaps and contributing to purple team exercises

Proficiency in developing cybersecurity metrics and creating automation / workflows

Technical knowledge in Windows, Mac, Linux internals, scripting, and cloud computing
