Estimated Weekly Salary Weekly Salary Range : $1,530 - $1,640 per week (estimated) ER RN Job Details Location : Asheville, NC (28801) Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department, Level 2 Trauma Center Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : November 23, 2025 End Date : February 22, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Unit Size : 101 beds Patient Ratios : 4 : 1 (medical), up to 7 : 1 (ED behavioral holds) Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center with high patient volume (100,000 annual visits) Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (must be current before start date) ENPC certification within 90 days of hire Strong teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback Flexibility to float and work in all areas of the Emergency Department Ability to meet scheduling requirements (every other weekend, department needs) Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations Collaborate with techs, unit clerks, and healthcare staff in a fast-paced environment Utilize Baxter pumps and GE monitors; document patient care using Cerner EMR system Maintain patient experience standards (AIDET, respectful behavior, regular updates) Float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed Adhere to unit guidelines, hospital policies, and required dress code (navy scrubs) Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required nursing certifications Join our healthcare team in Asheville and experience the benefits of travel nursing jobs in North Carolina.
