Job Description

Facilitate and moderate in-person user studies with complex, detailed, and dynamic protocolGather system data from test devices according to study protocols to assess system performance and determine if user studies are necessaryProvide a positive, high-energy experience for all participantsEnsure appropriate participant compliance with relevant study protocols, documenting any protocol deviations or study issuesGather quantitative data from study devices and equipment, validating the fidelity of captured dataTrack study progress and participation metrics, provide timely updates and proactively raise any study-related issues and challenges that may ariseCommunicate day-to-day results, statuses and issues pertaining to User Study Data Collections ProjectsPrepare, troubleshoot, and maintain study deviceequipment for data collection effortsSet up and break down study session areas dailyOversee study environment setup and communicate maintenance needs accordinglyInstall software, use SSHterminalcommand line to enable systems, and perform basic troubleshooting on development consumer electronicsManage user study participant correspondence, recruitment, and schedulingDiscuss data collection plans, issues and next steps with data consumersProactively work with data consumers to streamline and improve data collection processesAssist with basic data processing and visualizationsDistribute surveys, review, and collect survey responses and other feedbackSupport additional user study data collection effortsFlexibility to run study sessions between 730am - 630pm while normal schedule will be 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, as needed by the programCupertino service may require staying outdoors for extended periods of time (4-6 hours) on some days
