Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Infusion Specialty : RN Infusion Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 08 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required License : Registered Nurse (RN) License Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire Must-Have : Recent oncology infusion experience Description : Provides safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families. Utilizes the nursing process to assist patients in attaining, maintaining, regaining, and sustaining optimal health status. Implements the nursing process through effective relationship-based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practices and positive care outcomes. Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Engages in self-development and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Exhibits leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. Performs other assigned duties and complies with all policies and standards. Ensures compliance with requirements for the safe and secure maintenance of Protected Health Information (PHI). Knowledge of the nursing process and practice is required. Proficient in using a variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting, and other physical activities. Requires the ability to regularly handle weights up to 50 lbs. The position involves constant communication and coordination. This is a Monday through Friday position with no weekends or holidays. Shifts may vary between 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM or 08 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM. Late shifts may be required two times per week.
