    Position : Experienced Tax Accountant

    We are seeking an energetic and engaged individual with a work hard / play hard mindset and exceptional communication skills to join our firm as a Tax Accountant . The ideal person can manage their workload effectively and collaborate with other team members to deliver quality service to every Ethos client. If you enjoy problem-solving, appreciate a bit of fun in your workday, and are ready to grow personally and professionally, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

    Key Qualifications

  • 36 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related discipline.
  • CPA or EA (or working toward one)
  • Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and tax concepts.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage workload, priority shifts, timelines, and client requests.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working with diverse team members with a range of skills and experience.

    • Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of tax returns : Individuals, S Corporation, C Corporation, & Partnerships
  • Communicate directly with federal, state, and local tax authorities.
  • Manage all aspects of client accounts and deliver thoughtful insightsnot just numbers.
  • Utilize software & systems processes to provide accurate reports and tax returns within the necessary timeframe.
  • Perform accounting services in QuickBooks to complete bank reconciliations, journal entry adjustments, financial statements.
  • Ensure various components of the tax process are completed including tax projections, tax returns & special projects.
  • Identify areas that would benefit our clients financial growth
