Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 national law firm , is seeking a talentedmid-to-senior level Associate Attorney to join its thriving Employment Litigation Practice in Seattle . This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated employment litigation matters within a collaborative team, serving major employers across industries.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Washington State , in good standing, or ability to become barred promptly at start of employment
- 3+ years of substantive employment litigation experience
- Experience representing employers before federal and state courts
- Strong understanding of federal and Washington state employment laws and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of complex litigation, including briefing , discovery , depositions , and motion practice
- Prior experience at a large Washington defense firm or a smaller boutique firm handling sophisticated employment matters
- Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in employment-related litigation before federal and state courtsConduct factual investigations and manage complex discovery , including Electronically Stored Information (ESI)Take and defend depositions and participate in court hearings and settlement conferencesDraft pleadings, substantive briefs, dispositive motions, and other litigation documentsSupport case strategy and collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneysAdvise clients on litigation risk and provide proactive, business-focused counselWhy Join Us?

Compensation & Benefits
