Job description : l argest private Cardiology practice in the Houston area, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care. We are comprised of physicians specializing in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, EP, vascular and endovascular surgery and podiatry.

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team and manage billing for a multi-specialty physician practice. This role includes processing claims for office visits, imaging, cardiology testing, podiatry, wound care, and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable about payer requirements and reimbursement processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely electronic and paper claims to insurance payers.
• Verify claim accuracy for CPT, ICD-10, and modifier coding.
• Monitor claim status, follow up on unpaid or denied claims, and resolve billing issues promptly.
• Post payments and adjustments accurately.
• Work closely with front office, coding, and clinical staff to ensure clean claims and proper documentation.
• Manage patient account inquiries and assist with balance resolution when needed.
• Maintain compliance with payer rules, HIPAA regulations, and internal policies.
