Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with advanced CT certification and recent experience for a 20-week night shift contract.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital CT scan department
  • Night shift schedule : Monday to Thursday, 8 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM
  • 20-week contract duration
  • Utilize Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to perform diagnostic procedures
  • Patient population includes both adult and pediatric patients
  • Performs image acquisition, manipulation, and 3D reconstruction according to protocols
  • Responsible for administering oral and IV contrast and verifying eligibility per protocol
  • Uses PACS, EMR (Epic), and IMPAX for image management and order completion
  • Duties include patient identification, safety protocols, and thorough documentation
  • Responsible for reviewing patient charts, obtaining necessary history, and correlating reports
  • Administers contrast and establishes IV lines following safety standards
  • Maintains a clean, orderly work environment and helps train new staff and students
  • Expected to meet all start and compliance deadlines

    • Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible
  • Advanced certification in CT required
  • Registry eligible candidates must provide diploma from accredited program and obtain registration within one year
  • Current HCP BLS certification required
  • Prior CT experience required
  • License required if applicable
