POSITION SUMMARY

Borden Dairy is seeking apeople-focused hands-on professionalto join our team as a District Sales Leader . In this dynamic leadership role you will oversee the daily operations of delivery drivers ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and driving departmental efficiency. You will play a key role in routing standardization and training efforts to support the safe and effective distribution of company products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise lead and mentor Route Sales Representatives to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the Distribution Manager in training initiatives operational efficiency data analysis equipment utilization and route optimization.
  • Assist in scheduling and performance evaluation of Route Sales Representatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Enforce all company policies safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with the supply chain leadership team.
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to meet safety service cost and personnel goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree in a related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of four years of supervisory experience in a distribution or logistics environment.
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English; capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and accurately recording data. Bilingual skillsare beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience in training mentoring and developing team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends holidays and varying shifts as needed.
  • Comfortable working in diverse environments including hot / cold conditions and refrigerated trucks.
  • Certificates Licenses and Registrations

  • Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Air Brake endorsement required.
  • Must possess a valid Medical Examiners Certificate in accordance with FMCSA Part 391.41 prior to operating a commercial motor vehicle for Borden Dairy.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequent standing walking kneeling reaching climbing pulling and bending with full range of motion.
  • Ability to frequently lift and / or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift / move over 100 lbs.
