Medical Collections Specialist

A company is looking for a Support Services Specialist II - HYBRID (Medical Bad Debt Collections).

Key Responsibilities

Advocate for customers and serve as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and government agencies

Research and reconcile accounts while maintaining accurate documentation of patient encounters

Handle incoming patient or client requests and execute follow-up procedures for billing and collections

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

3+ years of experience in medical bad debt collections within the healthcare sector

Expert knowledge of patient access services and the revenue cycle

Experience in a high-paced call center environment related to healthcare revenue cycle

Ability to meet performance objectives and demonstrate critical thinking skills
