Job Description / n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team position requiring pediatric vascular access and ultrasound-guided IV placement skills.

/ n / n Responsibilities / n

Work in an acute care hospital on the Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team

Care for pediatric to adult patients requiring advanced vascular access

Shift options include day, evening, and night rotations with 12-hour shifts

Weekend shifts are required

Work involves the use of ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder devices

Charting is completed using the Epic EMR system

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Care is provided to both pediatric and adult populations

Solid color scrubs are required; specific color not mandated

Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma, and Level III / IV NICU environment

Locals are accepted with adjusted pay within a 50-mile radius

Discounted parking and shuttle service are available for off-site and evening shifts; night shift parking is free

Active MA RN license required for consideration

Minimum of 2 years of pediatric vascular access experience required

Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement is required

Prior experience on a pediatric vascular access team, such as HemeOnc or ICU, is required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
