CarelonRx Account Manager II

Location : This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The CarelonRx Account Manager II is responsible for retention and operational excellence that meets / exceeds client service and satisfaction goals for a complex book of business.

How you will make an impact :

  • Cultivates / builds relationships with broker / consultant / client key decision makers through quality service.
  • Influences and collaborates with internal partners to deliver best-in-class service including resolving operational issues, root cause analysis, and driving recovery efforts that directly influence account retention and growth.
  • Executes client-specific operational deliverables including benefit set up, reporting, and project support as needed.
  • Implements / manages contractual obligations including standard performance / operational guarantees and rebate strategies.
  • Leverages data to track account performance and identify trends / opportunities for input / recommendations on client growth and retention strategies.
  • Responsible for operational understanding of all Rx products and solutions.
  • Supports implementation for new / existing clients and contract renewals.
  • Trains / mentors lower-level Account Management staff.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Requires a BA / BS and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in account management, sales, or managing business / client relationships; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
  • Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

  • Client facing experience preferred.
  • Account Management experience preferred.
  • PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) experience preferred.
  • For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary

  • range for this specific position is $69,160 to $120,120.
  • Locations : Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada

    The salary range is the range Elevance Health in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
