AP Accountant

The company is a well-established manufacturing organization looking to double their revenue in the coming years. They have a well-established customer base and are looking for someone strong to join their organization.

Job Description

Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation before payment. Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors while maintaining strong relationships. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries related to accounts payable. Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Accountant should have :

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
