• Provide quality compassionate patient care utilizing nursing process for patients of all ages
• Perform age-specific patient care in a safe, timely and professional manner
• Administer medications utilizing the 7 Rights : Right Drug, Right Client, Right Dose, Right Time, Right Route, Right Reason, and Right Documentation
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to act appropriately in emergency situations
• Participate in patient and family education and counseling regarding plan of care and discharge teaching
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient and hospital information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Practice according to professional and ethical standards in accordance with Colorado State Nurse Practice Act
• Participate in financial stewardship through efficient use of resources and supplies
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Valid Colorado RN license or multistate RN license through Nurse Licensure Compact required
• Required certifications : American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP
• Recommended certifications : CEN, NIHSS
• Must complete immunization requirements including Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella-Zoster, and Hepatitis B
• TB test within the last year (QuantiFERON only accepted)
• Influenza vaccination required during flu season (September 1st through March 31st)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within last 30 days required
• Criminal background check and OIG check within last 30 days required
