About The Position

Job Title : Floating Med Surg Nurse

Experience : 2 years of Med Surg experience required

License : Current RN license required

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

• 2 years of Med Surg experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to float to other units as required

Description :

Floating required, including to other campuses and units.

Responsible for taking Med Surg level patients.

This is a 36-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4-6 : 1.

Prior travel nursing experience preferred.

Experience with EMR systems, particularly Epic, is essential.

Degree accreditation must be documented or 5 years of relevant experience is required.

All requested time off or schedule requests must be submitted with the application.

Demographic information must be provided during submission.

Travellers are expected to integrate into the team and function as core staff does.

Culture is emphasized and team integration is important.

A hard document deadline is enforced prior to the start date.

No exceptions will be made for pending documentation.
