Position Purpose
The Human Resources Generalist addresses issues raised by current employees and new hires, organizes and schedules orientations, enforces company policies and procedures, and other daily functions of the Human Resources department.
Role and Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Conducts new hire orientation and ensures a smooth onboarding process.
- Provides support to employees and managers in various HR-related topics such as leaves, benefits, and compensation.
- Serves as a liaison between management and employees.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Processes employment verifications, and background and reference checks.
- Conducts exit interviews and process terminations, leave of absences, etc.
- Maintains employee files.
- Assists with payroll processing.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
