Summary
Seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide comprehensive human resources support, including benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and collective bargaining assistance. This part-time role requires 20–30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations across benefits, onboarding, and offboarding
- Assist with employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent handling of issues
- Partner with leadership on collective bargaining activities and union-related processes
- Maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a positive workplace culture
- Administer benefit programs and assist with open enrollment and related communications
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of HR generalist experience, including exposure to union environmentsStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentialitySalary
$40–$70 per hour
