Our high-profile e-commerce SEO agency is seeking a full-time Client Strategy Owner based in Austin, Texas, to lead impactful strategies that drive client success.

You will create and own client strategies, build strong relationships, analyze data, and work collaboratively with our team to develop and execute plans that exceed goals and achieve measurable results.

The ideal candidate has a foundation in SEO or marketing (e.g., Google Ads), keyword research, and an understanding of technical SEO concepts. Training will be provided, and you will work closely with the Co-founders and COO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of SEO optimization across client websites, including the strategic implementation of on-page elements, content strategies, and link-building strategies to maximize organic visibility, traffic, and sales.
  • Ensure all strategies and optimizations prioritize actions with the highest potential for driving client ROI.
  • Analyze client performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, ensuring strategies are aligned with their goals.
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs such as keyword positions, organic traffic, DR, RDs, and CVR to align with client goals.
  • Provide weekly updates to clients on campaign progress, host monthly calls to discuss performance and technical insights, and conduct quarterly strategy reviews to identify improvements and refine approaches.
  • Act as the bridge between internal teams and stakeholders, translating SEO concepts into actionable items for clients and developers.
  • Develop and expand the library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficient and consistent execution across teams.
  • Execute technical SEO audits monthly to identify critical issues and implement high-priority fixes.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure all published materials meet SEO best practices and align with user intent.
  • Foster a culture of excellence within the team, promoting continuous learning, adaptation, and the sharing of industry best practices.
  • Monitor algorithm updates and industry trends, with a specific focus on developments in AI-driven search, to maintain a competitive advantage for clients.

  • Link-Building Success : Build domain authority and referral traffic by overseeing strategic link-building initiatives executed by the team.
  • Quality Assurance : Establish and maintain a robust SEO quality control system to identify and address potential issues before they impact performance.
  • Process Optimization : Refine and streamline operational procedures to ensure scalable and efficient execution across clients.
  • Collaborative Success : Drive client success by fostering alignment and collaboration between internal and external teams.
  • Meeting Deadlines & Budgets : Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget to maintain client satisfaction and trust.
  • Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, marketing strategy, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving results for clients.
  • Preferably possess an understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO fundamentals.
  • Experience analyzing performance data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional client communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a simple and clear manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead impactful strategies that align with client goals.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
  • Basic understanding of coding concepts (HTML, CSS) and website architecture as they relate to SEO.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working across teams to execute strategies.
  • Passion for problem-solving, innovation, and delivering measurable results.
  • Location

    Work From Home / Hybrid, 2 days per week in our office in West Austin, Texas

    Availability

  • Monday - Friday : 8 : 00-5 : 00 PM CDT.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if required.
  • Salary

    Base Salary : $66,000 annually
