Paramedic - 24 / 7 Emergency Department / Urgent Care

Overview : We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our dynamic team in providing advanced patient care in the emergency department setting. You will play a crucial role in responding to emergency medical calls and delivering care to injured or ill patients.

Type of Opportunity : Part Time (0.45 to 0.89 FTE)

Work Schedule : 12 Hour Nights

Qualifications : We prefer candidates with previous EMS Dispatch experience and at least 2 years of ED patient care experience, including triage. A bachelor’s degree in any field and current NM Paramedic licensure are required. National EMD certification and current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications are also necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform patient care in accordance with the approved Paramedic Scope of Practice.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients.
• Monitor patients and keep accurate records using electronic health systems.
• Document any changes in patient condition and communicate with nursing and medical staff.
• Assist in maintaining emergency supplies and equipment.
• Participate in unit-based governance activities.
• Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently.
• Make transfer arrangements for patients needing transport.
• Collaborate effectively with EMS services and other stakeholders.

Compensation : The maximum offer for this position is up to USD $33.14 per hour. The compensation range takes various factors into account, including experience and training.
