Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician II to join our team in Bedford, Ohio. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and assistance to ensure smooth operation of desktop systems, hardware, and software. Responsibilities :

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktop systems, peripherals, and related components.

Perform system imaging and configuration to ensure optimal performance and security.

Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Linux environments, and thin clients.

Collaborate with users to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, presenting solutions in an easy-to-understand manner.

Manage Active Directory tasks, including user setup and access permissions.

Research and implement solutions for technical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Maintain and update documentation related to system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades for desktop hardware and software.

Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively while addressing urgent issues.

Ensure compliance with security protocols when handling confidential materials.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Proven hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.

Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware, peripherals, and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

Familiarity with Linux systems, thin clients, and system imaging processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business software.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for problem-solving.

Ability to research and stay updated on industry-related tools and solutions.

Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
