Descripción del trabajoPhone consultations with occasional callbacks. Primary Responsibilities : Essential skills include neonatal and pediatric ventilation management, intubation, lumbar punctures, and more. License : Must hold an active Texas medical license. Certifications : ACLS and PALS certifications required. NRP certification is essential. Skills : Proficiency in procedures such as conscious sedation, central line placement, arterial lines, and chest tube insertion. EMR System : MEDHOST. Privileges : Temporary privileges are available for a quick start. Support Staff : To be determined. Travel & Lodging : Provided by the vendor, with nearby airport and lodging options available. Flexible scheduling with the ability to tailor assignments to your availability. Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive inpatient setting. Position Details :
- Start Date : January 1, 2025
- Duration : Ongoing, with 10 days of coverage per month.
- Coverage Type : Call only (beeper).
- Practice Setting : Inpatient-focused with no outpatient responsibilities required.
- Call Requirements :
Must respond within a 30-minute radius.
Supporting OB / GYN and Emergency Department cases as there is no dedicated Pediatric Unit.
Requirements :
Board Certification in Pediatrics is mandatory.
Expertise in non-invasive and invasive ventilation management (newborn and pediatric).
