Registered Nurse - Outpatient Cardiac Catheterization

Summary :

The Registered Nurse demonstrates competency in clinical nursing by practicing independently and showing a thorough understanding of all relevant aspects of patient care. This role involves providing both routine and complex care while developing long-range care goals. The nurse is responsible for effectively managing varying clinical situations and delegating tasks to other care providers.

Responsibilities :

• Provides comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Addresses the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient information, including history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assesses educational needs of patients and caregivers and provides necessary resources and guidance.
