What You'll Be Doing :

Lead multiple exciting technology projects and mentor a talented team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to fulfill critical regulatory requirements.

Stay ahead of industry trends, experiment with new technologies, and actively contribute to both internal and external tech communities while also providing guidance to your colleagues.

Collaborate closely with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.

Utilize a variety of programming languages and tools including JavaScript, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, open-source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and various AWS services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

A minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience.

At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree.

9+ years of experience working with either Java or Go.

4+ years of experience using cloud services such as AWS, GCP or Microsoft Azure.

4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.

1+ years of experience in a management capacity.

2+ years of experience working in Agile methodologies.

This role is based in Richmond, VA and offers a competitive salary ranging from $204,900 to $233,800, depending on experience and qualifications. The position includes the potential for bonuses and long-term incentives.
