Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Ottawa, IL. This is a night-shift role in a hospital or diagnostic imaging enviment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging services, patient care, and support during overnight hours.

Assignment Details :

Location : Ottawa, IL

Duration : 8weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights

Responsibilities :

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (e.g., general X-ray, portable radiography, possibly fluoroscopy or other modalities as needed) according to physician orders and facility protocol

Prepare and position patients properly, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the imaging process

Operate radiology equipment safely, calibrate and maintain equipment, perform routine quality control checks

Adhere to radiation safety standards, wear protective gear, shield patients and staff when needed

Assist with patient transport to and from the imaging department as needed

Ensure accurate identification of patients and specimens; maintain detailed, timely documentation of procedures and images

Review images for quality, and request repeat imaging if necessary for diagnostic clarity

Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members regarding imaging results or patient issues

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Valid Illinois Radiologic Technologist license

ARRT certification (R) preferred

Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in diagnostic radiography; night shift and hospital imaging experience preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Stg attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and handle overnight workload
