The unit has a total of 11 operating rooms. There are 53 staff members, including a charge nurse and tech on each night shift. Patient ratios are 2 : 1. The equipment used in this unit includes OR technology with electronic medical records managed through Meditech. Common procedures performed in this unit include general surgeries, neuro / spine, cardiovascular, orthopedic, gynecological, and robotic surgeries.
