Advertised Job Summary :

Carolina Coliseum Custodial Supervisor will coordinate and direct the activities of custodial contract staff for the Carolina Coliseum. Direct day-to-day cleaning and maintenance activities. Coordinate custodial contract staff work activities during scheduled events on the Coliseum’s concourse.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience :

Typically holds a high school diploma or GED. Requires 3 or more years of job related experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

5 or more years in a coliseum or arena setting, coordinating custodial shifts and managing / supervising working custodial crew.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work activities of others.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to think quickly, exercise good judgement and quickly prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to train new employees.

Job Duty :

Responsible for cleanliness of designated Carolina Coliseum areas. Plan and conduct periodic inspections of all custodial areas to ensure facility readiness. Advise maintenance staff of any repairs that need attention. Assist in cleaning as needed.

Interview and select parttime contract personnel. Oversee training of new and existing staff in proper cleaning techniques.

Ensure appropriate stock levels of cleaning materials for operations. Submit orders to supervisor to ensure the department has the necessary equipment and materials needed for custodial work to be completed at the Carolina Coliseum.

Plan, organize and prioritize work activities, assign tasks to workers and allocates equipment and materials to accomplish assigned tasks.
