As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a highly visible presence. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, supporting a secure environment for customers and staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be relied upon for your professionalism, integrity, and teamwork as you carry out armed duties. Pay Rate : $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 01 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tuesday 01 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 PM

Sunday 07 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism while addressing issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the store and its perimeter, including parking areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for employees and customers.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas within the retail location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
  • Engage with store personnel and visitors in a courteous manner while remaining observant for unusual behavior or situations.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, and / or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and store management as required.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures and provide support to law enforcement or emergency responders if needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area while following all Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines for an armed post.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Hold an active armed guard card or license and a Level III armed certification if located in Texas.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
