Temporary Store Assistant (Operations) - Miami

The Temporary Store Assistant (Operations)is responsible for efficiently managing inventory shipping and receiving, maintaining stock rooms, organizing inventory flow, and ensuring accurate stock levels based out of our Miami retail store. This role involves preparing product transfers and client shipping orders, maintaining stock areas, and conducting regular inventory counts. The person in this role must possess strong organizational and communication skills, be proficient in computer systems, and maintain a positive work environment.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for processing inventory shipping and receiving in a timely manner;flagging any discrepancies and overages to the Store Manager
  • Take ownership of stock room, maintaining the flow of inventory and organizing to promote selling
  • Organize and maintain available stock; stocking back of house and retail floor
  • Prepare all outgoing product transfers for pick up, making sure inventory is properly deducted from store inventory
  • Prepare all client shipping orders; packing orders according to company standards and ensuring everything is completed in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain stock areas in store and off-site storage in line with expectations of management and operations
  • Regularly initiate cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained, communicating to the Store Manager and updating stock levels in Shopify as needed
  • Utilize NetSuite for inventory management and order processing, ensuring data accuracy and system consistency
  • Support Store Manager and Sales Associates as needed
  • Maintains a positive work environment through teamwork, collaboration, and communication
  • Uphold operational standards and processes to deliver a preeminent experience to clients
  • Maintains appropriate physical and apparel appearance utilizing uniform standards approved by retail management

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be a strong team player, punctual, and excellent attendance record
  • Ability to multi-task, and prioritize tasks
  • Strong professional and personable demeanor
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in computer skills Microsoft Office Suite, Mac, PC
  • Familiar with POS terminals, tablets, phone
  • Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time, physically mobile; can lift up to 25 pounds
