The Adult Intensive Services (AIS) Medical team at Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) provides intensive psychiatric care to adult patients throughout the agency suffering from severe persistent mental illness (SPMI), first episode psychoses (FEP), coping with mental illness and developmental delay, homelessness, legal issues, and those who may be court ordered to receive mental healthcare. We are seeking an AIS Psychiatric Manager to oversee and manage the quality of psychiatric care provided by AIS prescribers. The AIS Manager coordinates services in consult with their clinical team counterparts and will also provide psychiatric care to AIS patients. Anticipated work time : 0.6 Clinical, 0.4 Administrative.
The ideal candidate has experience treating all of the patients in the AIS continuum, is team-oriented in a multidisciplinary setting, self-motivated, is a life long learner, enjoys teaching and learning, has experience providing both IP and OP psychiatric care, and embraces Aurora Mental Health & Recovery's core values.
About the team.

Schedule. This position will work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and is eligible for a hybrid model that allows for a mix of remote and in-office work, with an expectation of being in the office four days per week and working from home one day. This schedule may be adjusted based on training, patient, and community needs.

Required Vaccination and TB Test.
AMHR has prioritized the health and safety of our clients and staff and requires all employees to receive an annual influenza (flu) shot and receive negative TB test results prior to their first day of hire. Proof of current flu shot and negative TB test will be required upon your first day of employment. Medical or religious exemption may be requested for the annual flu shot.
Salary for this role.
Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Fewer than 40 hours / week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on years of licensure and company equity.
