Shaw Industries is hiring an Automation Reliability Technician V paying $40.57 / hr in Port Wentworth. The Automation Reliability Technician will be responsible for executing assigned tasks with a strong focus on maintaining safe work practices, delivering high-quality, precise work, and supporting a customer service-oriented culture that contributes to the success of "Great Products & Service." They will ensure adherence to established standards and best practices, leveraging both training and work experience. This position also involves mentoring Reliability Electricians at levels II-IV, sharing maintenance knowledge and skillsets, while continuing to enhance their understanding of maintenance practices, equipment performance, and their impact on manufacturing processes and business goals. Additionally, the individual will provide feedback on job assignment needs and suggest improvement opportunities to both peers and leadership.

Responsibilities include maintaining manufacturing process and support equipment to highest performance levels, performing advanced troubleshooting and lead repairs of equipment, executing and assisting in development of proactive maintenance plans, executing assigned or scheduled work orders in support of projects and process improvement efforts, and mentoring Reliability Electricians in development of needed skills.

Requirements include safety practices, calculator and computer application, measurement units, math skills, ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics / prints, identification and proper use of tools, working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), and advanced troubleshooting of electrical components.
